COORDlNATING PROCEDURE (CON'l"D) <br /> <br />Department of Agriculture <br /> <br />In order to effectively accanplish the work in agriculture and to in. <br />sure coordination of that work, the following organization and procedure <br />is proposed: <br /> <br />The work of the U. S. Department of Agriculture will be done in re- <br />gional and state offices of the respective agencies to the max:llnum exWnt <br />poesible. There will be established in Tulsa a ElIlIall coordinating grQUP <br />of USDA personnel which will consist mainly of members of the USDA Field <br />CCIIlIIIittee. This group will serve in an advisory capacity to the Secre- <br />tary's representative on the A\offi Basins Inter-Agency Ccmnittee, as a <br />coordinating group on the agricultural work, and individually as work <br />leaders on various aspects of the work. <br /> <br />The states are invited. to coord.inate their agricultural work in QOn- <br />nection with the A\offi study by assigning such technical personnel as they <br />may wish to work with USDA technical personnel on various aspects of the <br />study. Likewise, Federal members of the A\offi Basins Inter-Agency Com- <br />mittee are invited. to make s:llnilar arrangements. <br /> <br />Work leaders or cha~en have been deaigpated for various phases <br />of the work. These leaders will be responsible for coordinating the <br />work of various agencies of the U. S. Department of Agriculture. They <br />will also assist the Secretary's representative in coordinating this <br />work with the work of the states and. Federal departments.
