<br />The. Hammond, project located in northwester~ New Mexico'Yas
<br />essentially completed m fiscal year 1.963, The prolect features, whIch
<br />will provide a full water supply for 3,900 acres of arid lands, include
<br />the Hammond diversion dam, a hydraulic pumping plant, the 29.mile-
<br />long main canal,1 a system of laterals, and a proJect operation center,
<br />Minor work o~ the main canal and the laterals will be accomplished
<br />during fiscal ye~1' 1.904, Pwject water 'Ya~ delivered to the Hammond
<br />Conservancy DHitrlct durmg the 1963 nTlgatlon season,
