Furthc\' studies re[;arding the disposal of the concentrated brine left by
II desalti.ng process, as well llS the environmental impacts of the project
as a whole must be made. Along with thi6, the bl!nefits must be tlllalyzed
in conjunction with the constructi.on,. operating and maintenance costs.
Attemps must also be made to keep up with the rapidly changing desalting
teChnology to insure the construction of the most efficient and environ-
mentally acceptable desalination plant.
