Project Summary: <br /> <br />The Cooperative Agreement for the recovery of the endangered fishes of the Upper <br />Colorado River Basin provides for fmancial participation by the State of Colorado in the <br />Recovery Program. The Program requires an original base funding of $104,000 (1989) <br />annually from the State (CWCB and Colorado Division of Wildlife (CDOW)), either in <br />cash or as in-kind service, The base funding is annually escalated by the Consumer Price <br />Index (CPI) (in FY 19943,0% over 1993 was used). For FY 1994, the escalation results <br />in a funding requirement of $128,300 for the State of Colorado. This work plan describes <br />the in-kind services to be provided by the Colorado Water Conservation Board for the <br />October 1, 1993 to September 30, 1994, period. <br /> <br />IV. Study Schedule: <br /> <br />Colorado's Program Management began with the inception of the Recovery Program in <br />1989. It has been an annual project included in the Work Plan for every year, and is <br />anticiMted to remain as a project until changes occur within the Recovery Program that <br />wouldlilter the needs for Colorado's participation. <br /> <br />V. Relationship to RIPRAP: <br /> <br />The Program Management for the CWCB oversees the technical and management water- <br />related studies and activities sponsored and/or conducted by the CWCB as identified in <br />the RIPRAP for Colorado. It provides for the in-kind services and funding of specific <br />projects for the CWCB's portion of the State of Colorado's contribution and participation <br />in the Recovery Program. The RIRP AP task numbers and associated sununaries that the <br />CWCB is responsible for are described above in Item VI below, <br />
