This information will be used for
the recreational impact portion of the economic analysis being prepared in accordance with
the Endangered Species Act. We have reached the point in our economic analysis where we
need to collect this information. To do that, I would like to schedule a day and time where a
member of my staff and one of the economists preparing the economic analysis could meet
with you (and/or members of your staff as needed) to answer the enclosed survey prepared
by our economic consultants. We are sending a copy to you in advance so that you can
gather the information needed to complete the survey and gain an appreciation for the types
of information needed for the analysis. We recognize that the answers requested in this
survey may not exactly match the way data records are kept in your state. In order to
minimize confusion and assist us in data interpretation, we wish to meet with you to discuss
your response to the survey. We will conducting these meeting during the week of May
10th. As the same biologist and economist will be interviewing the Wyoming Game and
Fish Department that week, we would like to arrange consecutive days for Colorado and
Wyoming. Therefore, our first choice would be either Tuesday, May II or Wednesday,
May 12. The meeting should last no longer than 1-2 hours depending upon any questions
you may have on how the data will be used. Please contact Bill Noonan at\303-23 1-5280 as
soon as possible for a meeting time convenient to you during that week. If a meeting at that
time is not possible, please let us know of alternate date possibilities. We I~k forward to
meeting with you on this matter. :"

)1.1 tL ,r""

)l'C1,r'i jr
. .(1
n.r
7

Sincerely,

Qob;:t 6h~

("" Reed E.
