Acres to be irri- <br />gated: New land, 3,630j supplemental, <br />20,450, <br />Centrol Utah Project, eastern and central <br />Utah. Includes enlargement of Straw- <br />berry Reservoir, construction of four <br />power plants, 36.8 miles of aqueducts <br />and other units. Acres to be irrigated: <br />New land, 28,540; supplemental, 131,- <br />840, <br />NEW MEXICO <br />Hammond Proiect, northwestern New Mex- <br />ico. On Son Juan River. Acres to be irri- <br />gated: New land, 3,670; supplemental, <br />none. <br />Pine River Extension, serving Colorado <br />and New Mexico. This project has been <br />given priority for future planning. <br />San Juan.Chama Project, south-central <br />Colorado and northern New Mexico. <br />This project also has been given priority <br />for future planmng. <br /> <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />BENEFITS <br />For All <br /> <br />WATER-The project will provide water <br />for production of special agricultural crops, <br />row crops and food products not in surplus. <br />A total of 132,380 acres of new land will <br />receIve wafer.
