",".; <br /> <br />W.t.r V..r 1983 <br />At the beginning of water year 1983, the water <br />surface elevation of Lake Mohave, which Is <br />Impounded by Davis Dam, was 632 feet, with <br />an active storage of 1 ,419,000 acre-feet. <br /> <br />During the winter months, the watsr levsl was <br />gradually raised to approximately 644 feet, <br />with an active storage of 1,714,000 acre-feet at <br />the end of March 1963. The water level was <br />drawn down during April and May to <br />elevation 641. During the month of June, <br />Lake Mohave reached 8 high elevation of <br />646.8, with an active storage of 1 ,800,000 <br />acre-feet. The reservoir ended the water year <br />at elevation 639feetwlthJ ,800,000 acre-feet <br />In active storage. <br /> <br />Lake Mohave rereases were made to sBtlsfy <br />flood control reQuirements and downstream <br />watsr use requirements, with a small amount <br />or reregulatlon at Lake Havasu. During the <br />water year, approximately 14,778,000 <br />acre-feet were released at Davis Dam. During the <br />water year a total of 16 mill/on acre-feet IS <br />scheduled to be released from Lake Mohave to <br />meet all downstream and flood control <br />requirements.
