Collins' logo <br />or one developed for the trail would be aesthetically <br />valuable and help establish continuity along the trail. <br />Other new innovations in self-guided trails are being <br />developed continually. Tape recordings and other electronic <br />media are just beginning to be explored. These methods <br />are expensive and probably unrealistic for use along the <br />Cache La poudre at this time. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Interpretive Building~. An interpretive building <br />serves as a center for information, displays, classrooms and <br />headquarters for staff. A building allows more flexibility <br />in prog~ams and provides a place for visitors to become <br />orientated and engage in mare complete study. <br />The Ft. Collins Milit~ry Fort, when reconstructed, <br />could serve as a historic Qenter along the Cache La Poudre <br />Trail. Here classes on IOQal history could be held. Displays <br />and literature could also ~e kept in this building. The <br />Lee Martinez Park Complex Qould perhaps' serve as a nature <br />center or some new facility could be found to serve as an <br />interpretive building for the programs associated with the <br />trail.
