The settlers <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />made their home close to the river not only for a water <br /> <br />supply, but also for the shade and protection of the trees. <br /> <br />Figure 6 shows the location of interesting historical areas <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />which are close to the Poudre.
