Kuwabara, <br /> <br />Region LM, prepared the following description of investigations for <br /> <br />establishing routing criteria for an IDF at Narrows damsite, <br /> <br />Releases from Narrows Reservoir to the river were limited to 5,000 cfs <br /> <br />(confirmed by June 12, 1974 telephone call from Keith Johnson, Corps <br /> <br />of Engineers, Omaha District, to Wayne Halliday, Region LM Hydrologist). <br /> <br />Inspection of discharge records, South Platte River near Kersey, <br /> <br />indicated 9 years in which discharges exceeded 5,000 cfs prior to <br /> <br />June 1. The excesses were determined for periods (1) prior to May 22 <br /> <br />and (2) May 22-31.
