Comment on the effects of practices on Wetlands. Discussions <br />under the Project Setting and the Formulation and Comparison of <br />Alternative Sections were modified to address these concerns. <br />Also, a mitigation component was included in the Recommended Plan <br />Section as well as in the Contracting Section. <br /> <br />2. Comment on Monitoring Plan. Discussion on the monitoring <br />plan for the project was included in the Formulation and <br />Comparison of Alternatives Section. <br /> <br />3. Page 64 - Comment on land contracted with PL-566 funds that <br />have a CO"ltract with another federal land treatment program. The <br />Contra-:":: 1 Section has been modified. Add after "LTC will be <br />appro': ... :. It is permissible to have two federally funded <br />contra. ... .n the same piece of land, however, these contracts <br />cannot pay for the same conservation practices. <br /> <br />Delete sentence, 'An LTC cannot be....treatment.. <br /> <br />4. Comment on Cost Sharing Management Practices. Only new and <br />innovative management practices can be cost-shared under PL-566. <br />Therefore, only polyacrylmide as a management practice has been <br />authorized for this plan.
