NRCS will obtain copies of the tests from <br />the USGS and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. <br /> <br />Cultural Resources <br /> <br />Cultural resour=es compliance for each farm will follow the procedures <br />in the NRCS General Manual, Section 420. <br /> <br />Financina <br /> <br />The individual land users will be responsible for arranging their own <br />personal financ~ng for their portion of the cost to install the needed <br />conservation practices. <br /> <br />Conditions for Providina Assistance <br /> <br />Technical and financial assistance furnished by the NRCS is contingent <br />on the appropriation of funds by the United States Congress. <br /> <br />Ooeration, Maintenance. and Replacement <br /> <br />The participant is responsible for the annual operation and <br />maintenance, as well as replacement of installed practices. These <br />costs are ,estimated to be about $73,300 annually. The participants are <br />responsible for all replacement costs. The expected useful life for <br />the appurtenant structures is 15 years. All other enduring practices <br />have an expected life of 25 years or more. <br /> <br />47 <br />
