No conditional vlater rights were operated under this
approach.

The study periOd in this approach was from 1950 to 1986. The
recorded flows of Taylor River below Taylor Park Dam and the
reservoir releases were obtained from W. W. Wheeler and Associates.
With these two sets of data the divertable flows to the Union Park
Reservoir were determined according to the Following relationship.

Divertable flow to Union Park Reservoir

= Recorded flow of Taylor River at Taylor Park Dam - Historical

releases from Taylor Park Reservoir - Additional flow bypassed to

meet CWCB decreed mi nimum streamfl ow requi rements of Taylor Ri ver

below Taylor Park Dam (if releases did not meet minimum streamflow

requirenent) + Lottis Creek inflow.

Note: No rel eases from Union Park Reservoi r were made if recorded

flow did not meet minimum streamflow, however, no water was stored

in Union Park Reservoir at such til1es.

The CWCB minimum streamflow requirements are presented on Table /
IlI-5, and the monthly releases from the Taylor Park Reservoir are
presented on Table / III-G respectively.

-31-
