Of the total estimated ,cost of $262 million, <br />about 75 percent, or $196 million, will be needed for the con- <br />structionof conventional wastewater treatment facilities. Another <br />$38 million will be invested in tertiary wastewater treatment <br />facilities. The ,investment for conventional treatment of industrial <br />wastewater is estimated to be considerably less -- approximately <br />$16 million, The remaining $112 million of capital investment is <br />estimated to treat recreation wastes, abate pollution from animal <br />waste, control salinity, and reduce trace elements in domestic <br />water supplies. <br /> <br />.. vi - <br /> <br /> <br />!, <br />
