The measured levels
of activity were less than test accuracy for four of the eight tests for
filtered brine, four of the eight tests for unfiltered brine, and two of
the eight tests for the suspended solids.

Hazardous Waste Analysis

An aliquot of the suspended solids on the Millipore filters was analyzed
by Williams Brothers Laboratories for the eight elements specified in the
EPA Hazardous Haste Extraction Procedure Toxicity Tests. A copy of the
results are attached.

Concen tr a tions
considerably
removed by
wastes.

for each of the eight elements were
below the EPA limits. Therefore, the solids
filtration are expected to be classified as

very low and
which will be
non-hazardous

Disposal

The quantity of dry solids to be removed from the brine will be about 250
pounds per month. It is concluded that a hazardous waste management
facility will not be required for disposal of these small quantities of
filtered suspended solids.

Sincerely yours,
Cl .
. ..J:
.- -!,.' ~
,C<7 '.,...<1' ./1. .
" ... 1'. >.~ (J!,......
/.~;......
