The research is aimed at developing and <br />evaluating methods for understanding and managing salinity from agri- <br />cultural and diffuse natural sources in the Colorado River Basin. <br /> <br />Co.) <br />N <br />::n <br />W <br /> <br />The Office of l'J'ater Resources Research is also sponsoring a regional <br />research project on salinity. The Directors of the Basin's Water <br />Resources Research Institutes have decided to investigate the economic <br />aspects of salinity control. This will involve cooperation among the <br />University of California, Colorado State University, Utah State University, <br />and Arizona State University. The research will be directed toward <br />evaluating damages caused by salinity.
