There <br />Were 18 chamber representatives <br />at the Brush meeUng from the <br />three chambers. <br />The [oHowing is ..the resolution <br />that was adopted: <br /> <br />.- "That the Brush, Fort Morgan <br />and Sterling Chambers of Com- <br />"merce are united to the. fullest ex- <br />tent in supporting and promoting'l <br />a water conservancy district and <br />any other assistance tIle Colorado' J <br />Water Conservation Board deems <br />necessary or helpful in construct_ <br />ing a dam on the South Platte <br />: ~ -River at the Narrows site in Mor- <br />gan County, CoJarado." <br />The resolution was submitted to <br />the Sterling Chamber of Commerce <br />tOday. It will be submitted to the <br />Brush ChiJmber of Commerce at <br />.the regular meeting Monday. <br /> <br />At the Fort Morgan meeting <br />WitJl 13 directors present, the <br />. resolution was unanimously adopt- <br />ed. There was a vcry general dis- <br />cussion of the project in which <br />rriany phases of the dam were dis- <br />.cUssed. Last year the local cham. <br />bel' adopted a pOlicy favoring the <br />. construction of dam at Some point <br />on the river which the Bureau of <br />Reclamation might decide would <br />:' be in the best interest of the South <br />Pla'He Valley.
