An important objective of the Preferred Water
Sale Alternative was to meet the minimum flow
requirements stipulated in the Operating
Principles, By complying with the minimum flow
requirements, reasonable protection to the
fi sheri es is provided. Therefore, no add1t i onal
mitigation measures were considered necessary
with regard to the Ruedi Round II water sales.

Table 3.8 (page 3.18) was changed to show the
mottled sculpin occurring in the Fryingpan
River.

According to surveys conducted by Nehring and
Anderson (1981 and 1982) and personal commun-
ication with Robert Behnke, nearly pure Colorado
River cutthroat trout have been collected in the
Fryingpan River. Apparently, specimens are
occasionally found in river sections immediately
below the dam after high flows and persist until
they are caught by fisherman or die of old age.

Bony tail chub have been collected at four sites
in the upper basin of the Colorado River. The
text has been modified as appropriate (page
3.26).
