N N The duplicate paragraph has been deleted. The discussion of the endangered fishes, while somewhat cursory in the Draft Supplement, was dealt with extensively in the Biological Assess- ment submitted to the Fish and Wildlife Service on July 3, 1984. In addition, the endangered species were extensively dealt with in the Biological Opinion issued by the FWS on June IS, 1987. Accord i ng to surveys conducted by Nehri ng and Anderson (1981, 1982) and personal com- munication with Robert Behnke, nearly pure Colorado River cutthroat trout have been collected in the Fryingpan River. Apparently, specimens are occasionally found in river sections immediately below the dam after high flows and pers i st unt 11 they are caught by fishermen or die of old age. - ., lie .. at - - - - -
