<br />~ <br /># <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Bostwick Park Proj~.--Detailed land classification surveys <br />were initiated in July and are to be completed this fall. <br />Completion of the feasibility report is soheduled for F.Y. 1958. <br />West Divide Project.--Invitations to bid are being <br />prepared to obtain topography of the project lands. <br />Dolores Project.--Topographic surveys of project lands <br />and detailed land classification work are about 35 percent <br />complete. Aotivities to date have been centered generally <br />in the ~lontezuma Valley. <br />Animas-La Plata Project.--A contract was awarded to <br />Fairchild Aerial Surveys for photogrammetric mapping of the <br />LaPlata-Colorado and Dry Side areas. A memorandum of agreement <br />has been negotiated with the Indian Service to provide for <br />their financial partioipation in the project investigation. <br />Projects--Reconnaissance and Status Reports <br />DeBeque Project.--A reconnaissance report has been drafted <br />and is being processed by the Regional office. The report <br />has been delayed because of other priority work, but should be <br />available by the last of September. <br />O'Neal Park Project.--A reconnaissance report has been <br />drafted and is being processed by the regional offiee. Potential <br />power and irrigation developments on the Piedra River are <br />shown to be very marginal, and pr6bably not justified for <br />further consideration at this time. <br />Yampa-White Project.--Studies are essentially eomplete for <br />six potential units and a field draft of the report is in the <br />Regional office for final clearance. <br /> <br />1258 <br /> <br />5 <br />
