The items of table 14 are derived chiefly from reports of the <br />! U. S. Bureau of Reclamation and the U. S. Geological Survey and <br />therefore represent reasonably close npproximations, although such <br />reports are compiled from numerous sources and include measure- <br />ment~ b~' many \vater-using agencies, districts, etc. The only item <br />directly measured by The Metropolitan Water District of Southern <br />Califomia is it, listed diversion at its Intake pumping plant on <br />the shore of Lake Havaw, 2 miles above Parker Dam.
