<br />13. RESOLUTION HONORING ROBERT W, JESSE: <br /> <br />The following resolution honoring Robert W. Jesse for his service 10 the Administration <br />and water users in the Arkansas Valley was adopted by the Adminis[ration at the December <br />13, \988 annual meeting. Mr. Jesse served as the first Operations Secretary of the <br />Administration until his retirement from the Colorado Division of Water Resources on <br />July I. 1988. This 1988 Annual Report contains data and records prepared by Mr. Jesse for <br />the last time and is dedicated to his long service 10 the Administration. Fortunately for all. <br />Mr. Jesse continues ro remain active in the workings of [he Arkansas Ri veT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Robert W. Jesse was an employee of the Colorado Division of WOller <br />Resources for 28 years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Jesse served as the Colorado Division Engineer for the Arkansas River <br />Basin from 1974 until his retirement from state government in 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Jesse assisted the Arkansas River Compact Adminis1ration in numerous <br />ways throughout his tenure as the Colorado Division Engineer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Jesse served as Ihe Administration's assistant secretary or Operations <br />Secretar)' from 1980 until his retirement from stale government: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Mr. Jesse perfonned wirh distinction his responsibilities as an officer of the <br />Administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. he conducted himself at alltime.~ with the utmost professionalism and sense <br />of public duty. <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOL VED by the Arkansas RiverCumpact Administration <br />that it does hereby acknowledge wilh gralitude the outstanding service of Robert W. Jesse <br />to Ihe Adminislration and to the stales of Colorado and Kansas, express its appreciation [Q <br />Mr. Jesse for his dedication. and extend to him its best wishes for continued good health and <br />happiness in all of his fulure endeavors. <br /> <br />BE IT RJRTHER RESOLVED thai this Resolulion be entered into the records of Ihe <br />Administration and thallhe re~ording secretary be instructed to send a copy of Mr. Jesse. <br /> <br />BE IT RJRTHER RESOLVED thai the Administration honor Mr. Jesseforhis many years <br />of serv ice by including his picture and appropriate dedicatory remarks in the Administration's <br />annual report for Compact year 1988. <br /> <br />Entered this 13th day of December, 1988, al Ihe annual meeting of the Arkansas River <br />Compact Administration held in Lamar, Colorado. <br /> <br />Frank G.
