in the following table. The water exported from the basin

for use in the drainage basin of the main stem of the Colo-

Present Water Use

A study of the arable land of the subbasin conducted

by the Bureau of Reclamation shows a total of 56,260 acres of

land was irrigated in 1937. A recent study shows the land

irrigated in 1964 totaled 70,600 acres, an increase of 14,340
