Water Runoff
The annual historic runoff of the Yampa River at the
u. S. Geological Survey Maybell gaging station for the 18-year
period of study 1943-1960 averaged 1,061,900 acre feet. The
annual historic runoff of the Little Snake River at the U. S.
Geological Survey Lily gaging station for the same period
averaged 379,300 acre feet. Of this Little Snake River runoff,
it is estimated that 177,700 acre feet originated on watershed
located in Colorado and 201,600 acre feet originated on water-
