Corresponding flows at the remaining stations in the Green River basin
were estimated by assuming that the minor change required for the
Green River near Green River, Utah station was distributed throughout
the basin in direct proportion to the flows at the various stations"
Historical data for the Green River, Utah station and the Framework
Study estimate for the Greendale, Utah station were first modified to
remove the effect due to Fontenelle and Flaming Gorge Reservoirs.
An average value of 4,479,300 acre-feet was obtained for the Green
River, Utah station. The ratio of this value to the above 4,369,800
acre-feet value was then used to adjust the estimated Greendale value
and the historical flows for the 1914-1965 period for Yampa River
near Maybell.and the White River near Meeker. The following values
were obtained:

Historical Adjusted
Green River nr Green River, Utah 4,479,300 AF 4,369,800 AF
Green River nr Greendale 1,627,000 1,587,230
Yampa River nr Maybell 1,131,000 1,103,350
White River nr Meeker 456,800 445,630

Since data are not available for the 1914-1965 period at the other
stations in the Green River Basin, shorter periods of concurrent
data were used in a similar ratio value procedure. Estimates obtained
for these stations follow:

Historical

Adjusted

1,196,650 AF
Likewise for the two remaining stations in the San Juan Basin, it
was assumed that the modification was proportional to the flows at
the stations. Concurrent data for the 1951 through 1961 period were
used in the adjustment. Estimates obtained for these stations
follow:
