Colorado <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />This proposal recommends that 99,489 acres of the Flat Tops Primitive Area, in <br />the Routt and White River National Forests, State of Colorado, and contiguous acres <br />be designated as Wilderness by Act of Congress and be added to the National Wilder- <br />ness Preservation System, <br /> <br />This proposal further recommends that 2,635 acres of the Flat Tops Primitive Area <br />are not suitable for Wilderness. <br /> <br />The total wilderness acreage would be 142,230 acres, It would be called the Flat <br />Tops Wilderness, Routt and White River National Forests, and would be administered <br />in accordance with the provisions of the Wilderness Act, Public Law 88-577, dated <br />September 3, 1964, and the Regulations of the Secretary of Agriculture, Title 36 C,F.R <br />251. 70-251.84. <br /> <br />U.
