The Arkansas and White River Basins. As previously noted, <br />navigation investigations in the Arkansas River Basin in Kansas and <br />Oklahoma and the ~fhite River Basin have been discontinued. No evalua- <br />tion statements are contemplated. Draft of Part II of the report has <br />been initiated. I <br /> <br />2. Red River Basin. <br /> <br />a. A supplement to the Needs-Possible Solutions report for <br />the Red River below Fulton is scheduled to be distributed in July. This <br />supplement will present revised estimated costs together with estimated <br />benefits and cost-benefit ratios for the Shreveport-Texarkana and the <br />Shreveport-Daingerfield Waterways. Preparation of the Evaluation State- <br />ment is 95 percent complete. Draft of the Navigation Section of. Part II <br />of the report is 95 percent complete. <br /> <br />b. Ouachita River. Investigations of the transportation <br />.savings for the investigated projects have been completed. The Brief <br />Written and Evaluation Statements are 35 percent complete. Draft of <br />Part II of the report is 15 percent complete. Conversion to future <br />price levels is 50 percent complete. <br />
