1. A revised work map showing the noncontributirtg drainage area
of the upper Arkansas River Basin has been prepared by the C01~S of
Engineers. It is proposed to draft a statement for the basis of prepara-
tion of the map and proposed procedures for determination of noncontrib-
uting drainage areas by subbasins, This material will be prepared in
draft form and circulated to agency members for review prior to a meeting
of the work group, not yet scheduled.

2. A task group consisting of Messrs. Bare, Eastman and Tharp,
prepared a report outline for Section 1 of Part II entitled, ''Descripti.on
of Arkansas-White-Red Basins". The Tulsa Group approved the outline.

3. The work group is considered to be on schedule.
