North Gila Valley Irriqation District - The total return flow for the North
Gila Valley Irrigation Distriot is 387. of the total diversion computed on the
GGMC WLDS (Column 5 for stations 409+25 and 596+65) plus the sum of the

following flowsr

These flows appear on the monthly YFO FAX sheet and the USGS monthly
provisionals as well as on the USGS final oalendar year report and yearly
Water-Data Report.

Wellton-Mohawk Irriqation and Orainaqe Distriot - A supplemental and
amendatory contract between the United States and IVMIDD of February 9, 1990.
changed the procedure for computing return flows for this District.
Previously. the return flow for WHIDD had been the flow at the Wellton Mohawk
Main Outlet Drain (USGS Station 09529300). The amendatory oontraot details
three situations and the approaoh to computing return flows for each. They
are~

1.) When there are no flows at the station laoated near Mohawk, Arizona
(USGS Station 095203601 the Distriot shall reoeive return flow oredit for all
flows at Dome (USGS Station 09520500) and the flows at the Main Outlet Drain
(USGS Station 095293001.

2.) When there are sustained flows at Mohawk (095203601 the District
shall not receive any return flow oredit for water in the Gila River.
Although the contraot does not speoify. it is presumed that the Distriot is
still oredited with return flows in the Main Outlet Drain (09529300) when this
condition exi~ts.

3.1 If there are looalized storms which provide inflow to the Gila
River between the Mohawk and Dome stations. the District shall not receive
oredit for water from the storms. During the period of time that the storm
inflow affeots existing flow at the Dome station. the District shall receive
return flow oredit for this period based on the average hourly flow at the
