Jencsok <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />April 21, 1993 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Agenda Item 16c, May 6-7, 1993, Board Meeting- <br />Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program, <br />Instream Flow Appropriation Enforcement Agreement <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />At the November 9-10, 1992, Board Meeting, a draft agreement between the <br />Board and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) was presented to the Board. <br />The agreement laid out the manner in which instream flow rights appropriated for the <br />benefit of endangered fishes would be admini~tered and protected by the Board. <br /> <br />Attached for your review and discussion at the Board meeting is a second draft <br />of the Agreement which includes the changes recommended by the Board. Although <br />Service representatives have participated in the drafting of this agreement it has not <br />been formally presented to the Service for its approval. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />The staff recommends that the Board review this agreement and transmit the <br />agreement for a formal review by the Service. <br />
