The
existing license (FERC Project No. 2204) expires January I, 2007. Denver Water is
applying to the FERC for either a new license (relicense) or for a small hydroelectric
project exemption, This Erosion Survey Report has been prepared in support of the
relicense/exemption application.

Public scoping meetings were held in June 2003 to solicit public input on the resource
studies and issues that should be considered in the relicensing/exemption process,
Concerns regarding erosion were identified by several parties during the scoping process,
In consideration of the erosion issues identified in scoping, Denver Water developed a
study plan for evaluating the extent and condition of eroded areas at the Williams Fork
Project. The erosion survey detailed in this report was completed in accordance with the
study plan.

The erosion survey was performed in the summer of 2003 (July 30th through August I")
to aid in assessing potential resource risks associated with the Williams Fork Project.
Results from this erosion survey have been incorporated into Denver Water's Geographic
Information System (GIS) database developed for this project.

Willinnr.
