Any reimburse- <br />ment due non.Federal entities pursuant to section 202(bX2) shall be <br />repaid without interest in the flSca1 year next succeeding the fISCal <br />year in which such operation and maintenance costs are incurred,... <br />(f')(l) Section 205<bXl) of such Act is amended by inserting "author. <br />ized by section 202(a), costs of construction, operation, and mainte- <br />nance of measures to replace incidental fish and wildlife values <br />foregone, and costs of implementation of the on.farm measures <br />authorized by section 202(c)," before "allocated for repayment". <br />(2) Section 403(gX2) of the Lower Colorado River Basin Project Act <br />(43 U.S.C.l543(g)) is amended by inserting "the costs of measures to <br />replace incidental fish and wildlife values foregone, and the costs of <br />on.farm measures" before "payable from". <br />(g) Section 205(c) of the Act is amended by inserting "authorized <br />by sE!Cj;ion 202(a), costs of construction, operation, and maintenance <br />of measures to replace incidental fish and wildlife values foregone, <br />and, costs of implementation of the on.farm measures authorized by <br />section 202(c)" before "allocated for". ' <br />(h) section 5(dX5) of the Colorado River Storage Project Act (43 <br />U.5.C. 620dCdX5)) is amended by inserting ", the costs of measures to <br />replace incidental fISh and wildlife values foregone, and the' costs of <br />the on.farm measures" before "payable". <br />(i) Section 205(e) of the Act. is amended by- <br />(1) striking out "of construction, operation, maintenance, and <br />replacement of units"; <br />(2) inserting "to the Upper Colorado River Basin Fund" after <br />"allocated"; <br />(3) inserting ", section 205(aX4) and section 205(aX5)" after <br />"section 205(aX3)"; and <br />(4) inserting ", for the construction, operation, and mainte- <br />nance of measures to replace incidental fISh and wildlife values <br />foregone, and for the implementation of on.farm measures" <br />after "salinity control units". <br />SEC. 5. (a) Section 208(a) of the Act (43 U.5,C, 1598) is amended bi <br />striking out "and not then if disapproved by said committees,'. <br />(bXl) The second sentence of section 208(b) of the Act is amended <br />by inserting "(a) or (b)" after "section 202". <br />(2) Section 208(b) of the Act is amended by inserting after the <br />secon,d sentence thereof the following new sentence: "The funds <br />authorized to be appropriated by this section may be used for <br />construction of any or all of the works or portions thereof and for <br />other purposes authorized in subsection (a), including measures as <br />provided for in subsection (b) of section 202 of this title,.., <br />SEC, 6, The amendments made by this Act shall take effect upon <br />enactment of this Act, <br /> <br />98 STAT. 2939 <br /> <br />P.L. 98-569 <br />
