Reclamation stloUld continue the use of consulting engi- <br />neer's to lilvestigate nell opportunities fo.' saline water <br />use, <br /> <br />5. ReclamatIon should, in consultation with the Advisory <br />CounCil, evaluate tne salinity control implementation <br />schedule so that Balt load reductions are consistent with <br />meeting the salinity objectives. FUl'ther, Reclamation <br />should also evaluate the availabIlity of monies from the <br />Basin funds in establishing that schedule. <br /> <br />6. ReclamatIon SDOUlti also seek tImely appropriations to <br />implement the construction of the units that were <br />authocized by P.L. 98"'569, as well as t.le previously <br />authorized units. <br />
