Tasks - Evaluate the immediate and long-range com- <br />prehensive impact of cloud seeding through <br />existing data, modeling estimates, and con- <br />current monitoring of. seeding activities. <br />Measure extent and value of water use to <br />different purposes. Assess the practicality <br />and benefit of providing scientific assist- <br />ance to underfinanced operational projects. <br /> <br />2. Results - Under local guidance, additional rain and <br />water supplies will be of immediate benefit <br />to local farmers, ranchers, and towns. The <br />assessment of this benefit will quantitatively <br />define the overall value and impact of seed- <br />ing for decisionmakers.
