Datum of gage 1s 7,980.25 ft above <br />mean sea level, datum of 1929. Prior to May 16, 1908, staff gage at site q miles down- <br />stream. Records are equivalent. <br /> <br />Draina~e area.--l,320 sq mi, approximately. <br />Avera~e dlschar~e.-_83 years (1890-1972), 904 era (654,900 acre-ft per year). <br />Extremes.--1889_1972: Maximum discharge, 18,000 cr. Oct. 5, 1911 (gage height, 6,80 rt), <br />from rating curve extended above 6,000 era;" minimum daily, 69 efs Aug, 21, 1902. <br /> <br />Remarks.--Records excellent except ror some winter months, which are r.ir. Flow regulated by <br />four reservoirs, total capacity 126,100 acre-ft, and by several smaller ones.
