About half of the regional salt load is derive
from local sources and half from imported water. Participation is needed by other agencies
that can influence the salt balance of the coastal plain in achieving a cohesive, regional
strategy. The Action Plan calls for concurrent management of both local and importe
sources of salt in order for the region to effectively achieve a long-term salt balance.

BOOKMAN-EDMONSTON
ENGINEERING, INC.
