The <br />provisions of this Act will now be integrated with a total basin <br />water management plan. Such a plan would provide for the most <br />efficient use of the water of the basin by: <br /> <br />1. Integrating water resource management and land use planning <br /> <br />2. Planning and controlling of interrelated structures and <br />physical features <br /> <br />3. Examining and evaluating the existing systems, institutions, <br />and legal requirements <br /> <br />4. Displaying alternative plans to examine quality and quantity <br />impacts within a river basin, and <br /> <br />5. Deriving efficient operational and management modes for the <br />river system. <br /> <br />14 <br />
