ACKNOWLEDGMENTS <br /> <br />c This report is based on available field data, published reports, and the <br />combined judgement of agricultural technicians familiar with the project <br />area, its agri cul tural problems and condi tions. The Bureau of Reclamation <br />furnished the USDA Field Party with pre1imin~ reports, land classification <br />maps and field sheets, fann worksheets, infonnation regarding yater supply, <br />and acreage and location of lands to be included in the project. <br /> <br />This information is used to augment field investigations such as soil surveys, <br />economic surveys, engineering surveys, crop yield detenninations, and <br />irrigation water investigations made by members of the USDA Field Party, <br />Soil Conservation Service and Agricultural Research Service. <br /> <br />The u.s. Forest Service and U.S. Bureau of Land Management assisted in the <br />watershed studies. The Forest Service also prepared Chapter III regarding <br />the relationship of the project to national forest lands. Assistance from <br />representatives of the U.S. Fanners Home Administration, Colorado State <br />University, Colorado Cooperative Extension Service, Colorado Agricultural <br />Experiment Station, State and County Agri cu1 tura1 Stabi lization and Conser- <br />vation Commi ttees, and others was valuable in preparing the report. <br /> <br />The contributions and assistance of these organizations in the preparation <br />of this report are gratefully acknowledged. <br />
