Conclusions and Recol'1:r.endations (PI'cducts of Activity 4) <br /> <br />The detailed conclusions und recc~mendations relevant to the following <br /> <br />items l'li 11 be presented: <br />I) Needs for plunning--Identify and recommend the time frame (1975-1935 <br />and 1985-2000), the geogruphic area covered and type of study or <br />program (Level B, Level C, special ~nd implementation) that should <br />be conducted to resolve problems within each study urea. <br /> <br />o Needs for research and data co11ection--RecOl::mend programs that <br /> <br />should be modified or broadened to meet the future needs. <br /> <br />o Needs for changes in the current institutional, financial, legal, <br /> <br />and socio-economic, water and related land arrangements, policies <br /> <br />\.f\7>~ <br /> <br />and programs--Recommend. changes that should be ir:lplemented in each <br /> <br />time frame (1975-1985 and 1985-2000) to provide an improved base <br /> <br />for resolving the problems \.lithin the r1issout'i Region. <br />o Role of federal, state, local and private entities--Identify and <br />recommend the roles and highlight deviations from the current <br />posture for effective and efficient resolution of the priority <br />problems within the region through implementation, planning, <br />research and data collection. <br /> <br />Also the Missouri River Basin Commission's endorsed priorities for <br /> <br />the resolution of problems within the region will be presented for level <br />B studi es. <br /> <br />B-1 <br />
