Armed wi th ~,hat- <br /> <br /> <br />ever data they can obtain, the fieldmen spend the summer months <br /> <br /> <br />personally visiting each Fater user to find out ",hat ~later rights <br /> <br /> <br />he thinks he has. They a130 inspect hi, irrigation ','orks and the <br /> <br /> <br />land he irrigates and they use aerial photos to locate and properly <br /> <br /> <br />describe the irrigated land. Their findings are then checked <br /> <br /> <br />against the Courthouse records and any necessary adjustments are <br /> <br /> <br />made. During the ,,'inter months, the fieldmen return to aelena, <br /> <br /> <br />compile the data into usable form, plot map, using aerial photo3. <br /> <br /> <br />and then the state ~'!ater Conse rvation Board publi shes a full water <br /> <br /> <br />right report on each county. Apiroximately 2 counties a year are <br />all that can be covered by our fieldmen and ','e have nOl" completed <br /> <br />36 out of the State's 56 counties. <br /> <br />- 6 - <br />
