Of

the other three, the state had insufficient space for carryover

and the other two (Mt. Carbon and Englewood) had insufficient

inflow.

Five agencies (state, Indian Hills, Genesee, Morrison and

Lakewood) used bookover space seven or more model years with an

average of 556 acre-feet in bookover storage.

2.2.6
1.

2.

3.

4.

scenario c (With Bookover) criteria and Assumptions

The objective of the operating plan is to keep the reser-

voir contents between 1974 acre-feet (Elevation 5558) and

4599 acre-feet (Elevation 5576.2). The permanent pool

would not be used by any agency for water supply or stor-

age.

The permanent pool (1974 acre-feet) is full and individual

accounts in the flood control pool are empty at the begin-

ning of the first year on January 1.

Although the State does not have an account in the flood

control pool, it will be allowed to store water in the

unoccupied flood control pool space up to the maximum of

2625 acre-feet. The State's stored water in the other

vacant accounts will be spilled anytime the space is

needed by the assigned entity or other bookover accounts.

The evaporation make up requirement on the accounts of each

entity in the flood control pool is a variable percentage

2-25
