Yields for these <br /> <br /> <br />crops were held at the same levels as used in the Level A analysis for <br /> <br /> <br />a 1000 acre operation. Equipment complements for the farm operation <br /> <br /> <br />were revised, however, to reflect the smaller size operation. Copies <br /> <br /> <br />of the computer output for the revised budgets are attached. <br /> <br /> <br />A summary of the revised crop budget results is given in Table <br /> <br /> <br />B-1. The overall return per acre was computed by multiplying the net <br /> <br /> <br />return for each crop by its proportion of the cropping pattern, and <br /> <br /> <br />then summing these weighted averages over all crops. An efficiency <br /> <br /> <br />adjustment factor of 1.1 was used to reflect the possibility that <br /> <br /> <br />under ideal conditions, it might be possible to achieve returns of up <br /> <br /> <br />to 10 percent higher than those projected through the crop budgeting <br /> <br /> <br />process. The adjusted net return of $320.36 is about $55.00 per acre <br /> <br /> <br />lower than the corresponding figure of $375.00 per acre for a 1000 <br /> <br /> <br />acre operation. <br /> <br />. ,,- ~J"' <br />'-1i_-__-,~ <br />
