Industrial Structure (Table 1 and Chart 3)

Between 1968 and 2020 earnings in manufacturing are expected

to grow more rapidly in the region than in the Nation while earnings

in agriculture and mining are expected to grow more slowly region-

ally than nationally (Table 1).

The region's relatively rapid rate of growth in manufacturing

earnings places its5th among the 20 Water Resources Regions.
