Management Situation by Revision Topic

The TSTL base is composed of
several hardwood and softwood
cover types. Figure 11I-8 illustrates
this species composition. The
spruce-fir cover type comprises
almost half of the TSTl.

A little over a quarter of the TSTl
is aspen. Aspen will be analyzed
as a separate component of the
allowable sale quantity (ASQ) due
to its questionable demand as a
commercial species.

Table 11I-8 provides further tabular
breakdown of information and
acreages by district of the various
components in determining TSTl.
