The Colorado River Basin salinity control program has proven to be a very cost <br />effeclive appruach to controlling the salinity levels of the Colorado River. Continued federal funding <br />of this prograll\ is essential. <br /> <br />The Colorado River is, and will continue to be, a major and vital waier resource to the 17 million <br />residents of soulhcrn California as well as residents throughout the Colorado River Basin.
