CRSC progr~ status <br /> <br />The seventh year of funding for CRSC was completed in Fiscal Year <br />(FY) 1993. In 1993, there were 136 applicants which included 12 <br />wildlife requests. Thirty seven applications were later <br />disapproved because of ineligibility. ~In FX 1993 69 contracts <br />could be funded with about 1.4 million dollars .of .cost-sha~e money. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Among cost-share practices, underground pipeline and gated pipe <br />continue to be the most popular and useful practices. In FY1993, <br />about 33,000 feet less of off-farm underground pipeline and 11,000 <br />feet more of on-farm underground pipeline were installed compared <br />to FY 1992. Approximately, 2,000 feet more of on-farm .concrete <br />ditch lining was laid on the ground in 1993 compared to 1992. <br />surge irrigation.system is gaining wide support. Many systems in <br />the valley are being modified to permit surge installations.. <br /> <br />The table below provides the status of CRSC.Program implementation <br />for FY 1993 as well as cumulative through 1993 since the start of <br />the salinity program (both GVSP and CRSC).
