The seven are Glenwood-Dotsero
Springs, Meeker Dome, Paradox Valley, Sinbad Valley, Grand
Valley, Lower Gunnison. and McP-lmo Creek. This effort started in
July ann was completed in late Milrch.

The impact of the Bureau of Reclamation's Colorado River
Enhanced Snowpack Test (CREST) on salinity levels was reviewed
and briefly summarized in a memorandum dated August 6, 1982. The
Colorado River Board of California predic~ed a significantly
different impact on salinity levels than did the Bureau of
Reclamation. The memorandum discusses the different assumptions
made by the agencies involved and how those differences affect
salinity levels in the Colorado River.

A brief review of the various simulation models used on the
Colorado River was also conducted. The Bureau of Reclamtion uses
three models for planning ilOel operating purposes, and these ilre
briefly discussed in a memorandum dated July 23, 1982.

222

dl/scp
