1" Phase 1 Project WATER SUPPLY COLORADO Southwestern Colorado will receive 123,700 acre-feet of project water during an average year. Of this total, 41,700 acre-feet will be for municipal and industrial purposes, as shown in the following table. The water will be available for lease or temporary use to the extent permitted by Federal and State law until Phase 2 irrigation facilities are completed to irrigate Indian Tribal land. The water supply will be subject to the same shortages as irrigation watersupplies. NEW MEXICO Northwestern New Mexico will receive 49,200 acre-feet of project water in an average year. Of this total, 38,400 acre-feet will be for municipal and industrial purposes, as shown in the following table. The watersupply will be subject to the same shortages as irrigation water supplies.
