ATTACH DETAILED JUSTIFICATION AND EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THIS PROJECT <br />IS CONSIDERED BY SPONSOR OR SPONSORS TO BE "OF NATIONAL URGENCY": <br /> <br />Refer to Attachment B. <br /> <br />9. IS THIS PROJECT OF. MORE THAN STATE OR REGIONAL SIGNIFICANCE? <br /> <br />Refer to Attachment B. <br /> <br />10. WILL THE NATIONAL ECONOMY BE SERIOUSLY AFFECTED IF THIS PROJECT IS DELAYED? <br /> <br />Refer to Attachment B. <br /> <br />11. COST DATA (FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL): <br /> <br />It is anticipated that the initial construction of the project, <br />estimated at $107,200,000, would be financed from federal funds. <br />Of this amount about 23.6 million dollars would be allocated to <br />non reimbursible purposes such as fish and wildlife, recreation and <br />flood control; and about 83.6 million dollars of reimbursibla funds <br />would be allocated to irrigation and municipal and industrial purposes. <br />The latter amount would all be repayable to the U.S. Treasurery with <br />the exception of about 9.2 million dollars allocated for the irrigation <br />of Indian lands. As long as these lands remain in Indian ownership, <br />payment would be defered in accordance with provisions of the Leavitt <br />Act of 1932 (47 Stat. 564). <br /> <br />12.
