Procedure for Allocation of Unused User Days During the Summer Season <br /> <br />., A pool for unused user days will be established for concessioners. It will <br />i operate through N PS as follows' <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />Concessioners will receive a monthly status report on their user days from <br />the NPS. These r.eports will be prepared and mailed by the end of the <br />following month (for example, September reports will be mailed by <br />October 30). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Concessioners will review that report and within five days notify the N PS <br />of any unused user days. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NPS will put out notice of any unused days available. <br /> <br />-:* <br /> <br />,Concessioners who desire extra user days will arrange with NPS for the <br />desired number of user days. This will be done on a first come, first serve <br />basi's. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Multiple requests from individual concessioners will be considered, <br />however, all first requests will be fulfilled prior to consideration of <br />additional requests. <br /> <br />D. Concession Evaluation Program <br /> <br />Concessioners must comply with the policies and procedures of the NPS. To <br />insure compliance with' these. policies as well as the procedures of the <br />Golorado River Management Plan, the concessioners will be evaluated in <br />a'ccordance with the N PS Concession Evaluation Program. The evaluations <br />will cover compliance with contract stipulations relative to insurance., rate <br />a'pproval, franchise fees, equal employment opportunity. financial reports, trip <br />,q'uality, etc., as well as adherence to the plan provisions such as, but not <br />lilmited to, user day and trip limitations, environmental protection health and <br />s~fety, visitor enjoyment, ,etc. <br /> <br />2 <br />
